The Weight Lifter Championship
The Weight Lifter Championship was held in Antalya between the date of 09 - 15 April in this year.
Turkey joined this championship with 15 athletcs. We won 3 gold, 4 silver, 5 bronz model the category of women and we won 3 gold, 3 silver, 1 bronz model the category of men. Totally we won 19 model.
133 women and 208 men athletcs from the 33 countries competed in this championship.
Playing the weigh-lifter sport was started in Turkey in 1890. The Ottoman Sultans intrested this sport.
