STRANGE PHOBİAS



  • Hippopotomonstrosesquippedaliophobia is the fear of long words. Most of them are Dislexic.

  • Cathisophobia or the fear from sitting.

  • Ambulophobia is the fear of walking.

  • Deipnophobia is the fear of dining, dinner conversations or carrying on a conversation while eating.

  • Arachibutyrophobia, fear of peanut butter sticking to the roof of the mouth.

  • Aulophobia is the fear of flutes.

  • Cyberphobia is the fear of computers

  • Dextrophobia is the fear of objects at the right side of the body

  • Levophobia is the fear of objects at the left side of the body.

  • Octophobia the fear of the number or figure 8.

  • Leukophobia is the fear of the color white.

  • Panophobia the fear of Everything.

  • Phobophobia is a phobia defined as the fear of phobias.

Well i think that these phobias are really strange,weird and interesting. What about you?

    Are these kind of diseases ? I mean are they treatable ? or do you have to go to a shrink for them ?

      yes they are diseases and they are treatable (with the help of a shrink) :D

      Trypanophobia- Fear of injections.
      Tomophobia- Fear of surgical operations.
      Nosocomephobia- Fear of hospitals.
      Dentophobia- Fear of dentists.
      Entomophobia- Fear of insects.
      Claustrophobia- Fear of confined spaces. etc... :D

      I have 2 questions about it,
      first; how could you find all those names of those phobias :P ?
      second; what made you so scared of anything mediacl? were you an unhealthy child ? or did you spend much time in hospitals ?

      thank you i'm alright :D but every time we go to the hospital i start to shake and tears fall down..I got used to it now :)

    you said these phobia are strange. are there any "not strange" or "normal" phobias ?

      of'course there are normal phobias.. like fear of darkness,fear of wild animals,fear of fire,etc...
