SEVEN WONDERS OF THE ANCIENT WORLD
All of them incredible ancient structures were buildied by people. First time the concept of seven wonders of the world was introced by Heredotus.
Currently only the Great Pyramid of Giza is still robust.
THE PYRAMID of GIZA
As I said; it’s stil robust. It’s anvient name is Khufu’s Horizon. The Great Pyramid of Giza on the Giza Plateau, Egypt.
This pyramid was built by Khufu in BC 2560.
In this pyramid is believed to tomb of Egyptian Pharaoh Khufu.
Height: 146,5 metres (481 ft) (ancient)
138.8 metres (455 ft) (contemporary )
Base: 230,4 metres (756 ft)
How this pyramid was built? It is still unknown.
HANGING GARDENS of BABYLON
Hanging Gardens of Babylon were built by Emperor II. Nebuchednezar at 7th BC century. This gardens was built for his Persian wife, Queen Amyitis. Because she missed the gren hills and velleys of her homeland.
Gardens have fascinating view.
STATUE of ZEUS at OLYMPIA
This statue was made by the famous sculptor Phidias for the chief god of the Greek period in Olympia at in circa 435 BC in sanctuary of Olypia.
Statue was moved to Constantinople (present Istanbul, Turkey).
And the statue was destroyed by a great fire.
Height: 13 metres (43ft)
TEMPLE of ARTEMIS
Temple of Artemis was dedicated to the goddess Artemis.
The construction of the Temple was started by Croesus of Lydia in around 550 BC.
MUSELOUM at HOLICARNOSSUS
This tomb was built between 253 and 356 BC at Horicornossus (present Bodrum, Izmir) by his wife and his sister for Mouselos.
The structure was designed by the Greek architects Satyros and Pythius of Priene.
Height: Approximotely 45 metres (148 ft)
COLOSSUS of RHODES
The statue was mad efor Greek Titan Helios by Rhodesions. It took 12 years of construction. The statue was finished in 282 BC and it was dentroyed by and earthquake in 226 BC.
Height: 30 metres (98.4 ft)
LIGHTHOUSE of ALEXANDRIA
It was built by the Ptolemaic Kingdom in between 280 and 247 BC. Mirror on the top of the lighthouse could be seen 70 kilometers away and the mirror was guiding ships in the port.

I have always wondered about how they built those pyramids... ILLUMINATI?
