The writer of this book is  Suzanne Collins. This book is science-fiction novel. In fact, The Hunger Games is a series . Series has got three books.The books names are The Hunger Games , Catching Fire ,Mockingjay.
First ; The hunger games was on sale.This book was published  in 14th 2008, September. In many countries this book became a best saller. There are Stephenie Meyer and Stephen King's comments in  back cover of the book . The second book is a continuation of this book. 

  The second book's name is Catching Fire.This book was puplished  in 2009 , September. In many countries this book became a bestsaller,too. These two books received much attention. 

 Following this interest, The last book of the series was released.The third book’s name is Mockingjay. 
The Hunger Games series fans waited patiently for this book .
Also ;  This series have been  
translated into many languages​​. And this series has a wide fan base. The series fans  has opened  fan sites.So;Everybody admires The Hunger Games series.

 Hmm.. I have  just read first book.I haven’t read second and third book,yet.I should say the first book is perfect. 

 I guess ; other books of series are perfect , too.
