Hi my friends!I'll introduce one more music group.It is a hard rock group.It's name is "Skillet".Skillet has been nominated to the Grammy two times, Collide and Comatose were in winner albums.Skillet; made a lot of kinds of different 1-3 million albums since 2009.The members of groups are :

With a mix of heavy electric guitar, keyboards and strong melodies ; Skillet resembles a heavy metal band, but it promotes Christian message.The group has had number one in eight songs slot on Christian radio and has been nominated for Dave Awards.

The founder of the band John Cooper grew up in a conservative Christian home, where his parents enforced rules about the music he was allowed to listen.They favored whole some singer Amy Grant, but Cooper was interested in Christian rock band Stryper, who emulated the heavy metal sound and he liked the bizarre costumes and makes up of the hardcore mainstream band "Kiss".He had sneak over to his friends houses to listen Stryper, because his parents would not know him to play their music in their home.Even when Stryper won the highest award in Christian music.Dove Award, his father refused to let him watch the awards on TV.

Cooper had an interesting experience when he attended a concert of the heavy metal rocker Marilyn Manson.He was curious about Manson, because Skillet's musics were often compared to Manson's.While he was sitting among the audiences, he listened to Manson's scream about Jesus and sang the

song loudly.In November of 2003 the band moved to Lava Records and released their album Collide.This album, unlike their earlier ones didn't explicitly mention Jesus.

Cooper told "Christianty today" that in the 1980s , he had been a huge fan of heavy metal music.He noted that he had been afraid that those kind of guitars and rhythms wouldn't be accepted, but now I'm not afraid of to take to people that places even if they aren't necessarily expacting that on a Skillet album.

KPOP (Korean Pop)

Maybe Kpop is one of the things whose name you're frequently heard in recent years.Kpop which is really popular among teenagers is becoming more and popular.Most people think that K-pop started to be popular with PSY’s Gangnam Style.But this idea is absolutely wrong.K-pop started to globalize before almost 6 years.Today, because of PSY’s popularity, Kpop is regarded as if only involves PSY and his music.So, I want to show you what the real Kpop is.

Since it is possible to see many people who admire Kpop all around the world. The name of Kpop’s worldwide popularity is Hallyu that means “Korean Wave”. Probably, most people think about why Kpop is preferred by many people.Because Kpop is quite charming thanks to its visual way.In Kpop, visuality is as important as singing.Maybe it can be more important than singing.For example, if you are a member of a Korean music group, you must dance very well.In addition, you should have some unique features,too.Also, you should be good at acting,too.Because most Kpop idols don’t only have career in singing, they can be seen in many dramas,too.

I have just said “A Kpop Music Group” instead of saying “A Kpop Singer". Because it is hard to see solo singers in Kpop.Record companies would prefer to have groups instead of solo singers.Maybe since a group can be more interesting and sympathetic than a singer.And some of Kpop groups have 12 members such as Super Junior and EXO.I think being a member of 12-member-group isn’t an advantage.Because in a three-minute-song , each members can only say a few senteces or words.In these groups, there is a leader who gives a speech in programes, there is a dancer who is in the foreground for dance choreography.And others line such as main vocal, rapper, vocal.

And the song’s subjects are my favourite part of Kpop.Because there is no limit .In Kpop, you can listen songs about brotherhood, fairness, crimes, being ugly, virtual word’s harm etc. And one of the Kpop’s groups whose name is B.A.P is famous for these song subjects.Also in the songs, you can encounter many lyrics in English.Maybe it can be because of Korean’s love to Americans or they use these lyrics for their foreigner fans.And, Kpop groups release albums, songs /music videos in Japanese for their Japan fans, which makes me jealous.In Korea, Although learning Japanese isn’t as common as English, Kpop idols learn Japanese for their fans and promotions which are in Japan.

Dancing! It is incredible but you can’t get on the stage without a dance choreography in Korea.Even if your song is slow and emotional , you had better find some dance figures for your performance.
In Korea , there are many programmes for Kpop idols. It is hard to watch TV for people who don’t like them.You have to see them in a lot of channels.Such as talk shows, comedy programmes and especially music programmes.In Korea, there are some music programmes which consist of SBS Ingikayo, M!Countdown, KBS Music Bank etc.

Every week, the singers who came back with a single join the programmes and perform.To do the best they can do, they perform the same show over and over again .Sometimes 9-10 times? And then the best version of it is broadcast. Also in the programmes there can be events like fainting, being injured and it is the evidence of how much the idols work and endeavour.According to votes in the end of the programme , top performance of the day is chosen and awarded.

Charitable Kpop! Do you know that most of Kpop idols donate some of their income which they earned from concerts to some charity organizations? And many Kpop idols regularly donate every year.Also, sometimes they sell their personal clothes  to their fans and then they use this  money for charities.And sometimes they join to a TV show which raises money to help the poor.

Some dangerous fans!I’m sorry for calling them fans.Their names are Sasaeng fans and certainly they don’t act like a fan.They dedicate their lives to famous.They can’t stay at home, sometimes they can’t go to school moreover they can forget eating something because they are too interested in their idols.Because they live in streets where idols live in.In the morning, they wake up there (they have shakedown to sleep in.) and they  prepare their cameras to take pictures of their idols.While the idols are going out of their houses, Sasaeng fans are the first thing that the idols see.They walk next to idols and it continues all along the street.Even the idols get on their cars, it can’t be an obstacle for sasaengs.They have some special taxis to follow them.And sometimes they cause accidents and they do it on purpose. Yes, they are fans who love idols but they try to kill them and want to make them suffer!For example, they are such crazy people that they write threat letters by using their blood and give the idol or they put it on idols’ house by entering secretly. So far, there are many idols which were injured by those fans.So whenever my mother say me that I'm really crazy about Kpop, I say that you don’t know anything about Sasaengs yet.

SAGOPA KAJMER

Hello friends! Today I will share about my favourite rapper Sagopa Kajmer to you.He is my favourite singer because I find very deep meanings in his songs.Now I will tell his story to you.

Yunus Özyavuz (Sagopa Kajmer) was born on 17 August 1978 in Samsun.He started music life as being a DJ in Samsun's local radio.He founded Kuvvetmira band in 1998.This band had got lots of members but today only Kolera and Sago in this band.His name was "Silahsız Kuvvet" in 1999.He published two albums with this name.After than he started to use Sagopa Kajmer name.The name of Sagopa Kajmer comes from Sagopa Pyramid.

He published and produced many albums between 2002-2005. I like "Bir Pesimistin Gözyaşları" and "Romantizma" in these albums.In 2006, he married with Esen Özyavuz (Kolera) and they founded self record company "Melankolia Music" with his wife.

He has got two albums with Kolera.These are "İkimizi Anlatan Bir Şey" and "Bendeki Sen". "Bendeki Sen" is one of the best 5 albums in 2010 year on TRT Music Awards.

Sagopa Kajmer published an album last summer.This was "Kalp Hastası". I bought it in release day! He has got twelve albums and my favourite album is "Romantizma".It is very dark and pessimist album.Sago and Kolera have got many music awards.Their albums sold thousends of copy.

He recognized religious in Turkish rap community.He loves his religion.

He has got many fans.They are MF (Melankolia Family) . MF likes Melankolia and I like too!

Hello my friends.I’ll introduce my favourite music group to you.This groups name is AC/DC.It found from Angus and Malcolm Young brothers.They are from Sydney/Australia.The members are;Angus Young,Malcolm Young,Brian Johnson,Cliff Williams and Phil Rudd.

They have lived so many changes in their staff to publish their first album ’High Voltage’ in 1975. Groups bassists Mark Evans left and cliff Williams came instead to him.They pusblished ‘Highway to Hell’ in 1979.This song has been very succesful.Groups soloists Bon Scott used a lot of alcohol and he died in 1980.Whatever group thougth to end to the musıc,Brian Johnson came instead to Bon Scott.Same year they published to their best second album ‘Back in Black’.The most popular member of group batterist  Phil Rudd left and their popularity started to reduce,and the he turned back to the group and he played ‘Ballbreaker’ album with his group in 1995.

AC/DC sold over 200 milion albums all around the world.AC/DC have been 4th between 100 groups in the music channel ‘Hard Rock’.Also they have been 7th in the greatest heavy metal band all of the time.They are stil playing.You shold listen their song,they are great.I advice AC/DC to all of you.

Hello my friends!I'll introduce to you a music group.It's name is The Native Deen Group.It is an Islamic musical group.Members of it are Joshua Sallaam, Naeem Muhammad and Abdul Malik Ahmad.Their music styles are Rap and R&B.And also they usually sing in hiphop style.Their songs are usually about basic rules of Islam.

The members were born and grown up in Glumbia.And they are young muslims.So they advise other young muslims to keep their Islamic faith strong in the face of difficulties of life and be a great muslim to the best of their abilities.They are muslims and they wear Islamic clothes on their video clips or their real life.For example kufis and shalwar kameez.Their outfits as well as their music style has Islamic values.

They have three albums and their names were are Deen You Know, Not Afraid to Stand Alone and The Remedy.Native Deen's origin is Washington D.C.

Naeem Muhammad prepared a wonderful slide show and showed pictures of poor and hungry children's photos at the third annual Islamic Relief in Costa Mesa California.Because he wanted to inform that Muslims should donate to charities and he said that "Islamic Relife (Evening of Inspiration) helps the most vulnerable people from all walks of life.People don't understand how much a dollar can do.That's why this event is more than just a concert it's a call to action."

Native Deen performs at different places and times.And also they are famous among Muslim youth in North America.They go some different countries to perform.

I think they are really good at their jobs.My favourite songs among their songs are Looking Grass, Intentions and Not Afraid to Stand Alone.They are very good.Maybe reason why their songs are wonderful is not using string instruments.Native Deen uses only percussion instruments and syntethic sounds in their songs.You should listen to them.

John Lennon

John Lennon was born on 9 October 1940, in Liverpool, England.His parents divorced when Lennon was 2.Lennon who was brought up by his aunt and uncle, was able to meet with his mother when he was a high school student.Later, his mother died in 1958.

In 1955, he was presented his first guitar by her aunt.At the same time, he met Paul McCartney.In February 1955, Paul introduced George Harrison to Lennon.Later on, his close friend joined them as a bassist and proposed that the group's name can be "The Silver Beatles".

Then the group's name was changed as "The Beatles".After a year, Ringo Starr joined them,too.The Beatles had a great succes worldwide with their first track "Love Me Do" and they were described as the best group ever by some critics.

Being so famous and behaving contrarian caused some problems.When they went to Palestine in 1966, they were invited by Palestinian President but The Beatles refused this proposal and said that they don't accept official invitations.Right after, they were attacked when they were leaving there.

Later on, in one of their interview, John Lennon said : "The Beatles is more popular than Jesus, now." and this remark got many reactions.
After this explanation, Beatles's plates were burnt in USA.Then John Lennon did a new explanation and said:
"I didn't say that we're better and more perfect than Jesus, or I don't compare.I said only like this : but it was a wrong expression or it was perceived wrongly.It's all.I'm sorry for that, it wasn't anti-religious discourse.I can't still understand why it was percieved as a great mistake.I tried to tell you what I thought.But if you are still waiting an apology from me and if it makes you happy.I'm sorry."

In 1969,John Lennon who married Yoko Ono, in the same year left The Beatles.
After 5 years, while he was doing preparations to go back to his music life, he was killed by Mark David Chapman in 1980.

Maher Zain

 Maher Zain is a Swedish and Muslim R&B singer, song writer and music producer. He was born in Lebanon, 16 July 1981. He was 8 years old, he moved to Sweden with his family. Then he graduated from Aeronautics and Engineering of Space, his music career started. He met a producer, Nadir Khayat. Maher moved to New York for his music career. Later he moved to Sweden again and he decided to sing religious R&B songs.

He started to work for Awaking Records in 2009 for his first album, "Thank You Allah". There are 15 songs in this album. It was released in 1 November 2009. Later, some songs were published in French. Maher Zain and Awaking Records popularized this album via Facebook, Youtube and iTunes etc.. Maher was the most searched famous person on Google in 2010 in Malaysia. At the same time he popularized his album very succesfully in Malaysia. Warner Music Malaysia gave him 8 paltinum discs for his album, "Thank You Allah" was a bestseller album in 2010. Sony Music Indonesia gave him double platinum discs in 2011 in Indonesia.

I started to listen Maher Zain's songs last year. He is a very succesful singer. M y favorite songs are "Awaken", "Hold My Hand", and "This Wordly Life". He used M.Fethullah Gülen's "Dünya" poem in "This Worldly Life" song. It is a great song. You must listen to it. Maher Zain is the number one for me among all singers.

He usually sings his songs in English but then he published his famous song in other languages, too. For example one of his songs, "Insha Allah" can be sung in English, Turkish, Arabic, French, Malay and Indonesian. And his other one song, "Allahi Allah Kiya Karo" (Echoing to Allah Everytime) can be sung in Urduca, Canadian singer Irfan Makki -He was born in Pakistan- featured in this song. And Maher featured Irfan Makki's  the first album, "I Believe", in a song, "I Believe". Maher's the last song, "Ramadan" in English, Arabic and Turkish now.



The biggest radio in Middle East, Nujoom FM gave the best psalm award to his song, "Ya Nabi Salam Alayka" in January 2010. He was more popular than other great singers, Sami Yusuf, Hussein Al-Jismi and Mohammad Mounir etc.. Maher Zain is a very good singer.

Today I want to tell you about my favourite group. It is CNBLUE and it is a Korean group and has 4 members. They are ;

Lee Jonghyun

He is the main guitarist and vocalist of the CNBLUE.He was born in Busan , South Korea. His stage name is Burning Lee Jonghyun .He appeared in a series called A Gentleman’s Dignity and a film called Acoustic.And he knows Judo. He is very hardworking person , he always studies with Yong Hwa.He is very messy person and his room is very scary.

 Jung Yong Hwa

Yong Hwa is the leader , lead vocalist and guitarist of the rock band CNBLUE .He was born in Seoul.His stage name is Emotional Jung Yong Hwa.He appeared in 3 series called Heartstrings, You’re Beautiful and A Gentleman’s Dignity. He is very hardworking like Jonghyun . They always study together.

Lee Jungshin

Jungshin is the rapper and bassist of the CNBLUE. He was born in Seoul. His stage name is Untouchable Lee Jungshin. He appeared in 2 series called My Husband Got a Family and My Daughter Seo-Young.  He is the tallest of the group . He still continues to grow height.And he gets along with Minhyuk.

Kang Min Hyuk

He is the drummer of the CNBLUE.He was born in Seoul, South Korea. His stage name is Lovely Kang Min Hyuk. He appeared in 3 series called It’s Okay , Daddy’s Girl , Heartstrings and My Husband Got a Family and a film called Acoustic.We can say for him that he is the best cook of CNBLUE.

This group had another member too but he left this group after 1st album.His name was Kwon Kwang Jin.

CNBLUE's record label in Korea is F&C Music and in Japan it is Warner Music Group.Their music styles are rock , pop-rock , alternative rock.CNBLUE means Code Name BLUE . BLUE consists of  this group's stage names's first letters.(Burning –Lovely –Untouchable-Emotional).CNBLUE ‘s fans names are BOICE. They call their fanswith this name.They released their first album in Japan.Its name was Now or Never. They have many albums , singles and mini albums.They have almost 20 albums. (actually it occurs with albums , singles and mini albums mixes) I love their Code Name Blue album most. They do their albums in English , Japanese or Korean.They gave their first concert in 2011 in Japan. They made many tour until now. And now they are in a world tour called BLUE MOON .

  They have been together since 2008.
