Artemis Temple

Artemis Temple was built for Godess Artemisin 550B.C. (before Christ) by Croesus, the king of Libya. The edifice is marble and edifice was adorned with bronze statues. Artemis Temple was a temple and also a marketplace. The edifice was applied by a Greek in 356 B.C.


Zeus Statue

It was built for Zeus in Olimpia in 450 B.C. It was built on a board skeleton with gold, ivory and metal pieces in Partenon. The statue is 13 meters long.


Keops Pyramids

Keops Pyramids can still be seen in Egypt. It was built in 2560 by Pharaoh Khufu. You can only see this edifice among seven wonders of the world. It is 145,75 meters long. It was the highest building in the world for 2560 years.


Rhodes Statue

It was built with iron and Stone. I t is 32 meters long. The statue was built for The God of Sun, Helios in Greece. It was built in 12 years. The knee of the statue was broken because of an earthquake.


Hanging Gardens of Babylon

It was built in 7th century B.C. by Nebukadnezzar, the king of Babylon. Nobody knows the exact location of the gardens. Geographer Strabon’s definition shows that it is in Iraq.


Alexandria Lantern

It was built at Pharos Island of Alexandria city in Egypt. The lantern is 166 meters long. The construction of the lantern started in 290 B.C. by Commander Ptolemy Sater of Big Alexandria. The Lantern was built for the God of Sun. There were mirrors in the front windows. The mirrors reflected fire and enlightened the sea at night. It could be seen 50 km away. The building was demolished by earthquakes and other natural affects.


Mausoleum of Halikarnassus

It was built for King Mausallas by his wife and his sister in 350 B.C. in Bodrum. The grave was adorned with statues. The height of the mausoleum was 45 meters.
