There is an island in Massachussets. In the island there is a madhouse. And all the patients are crime. One of the patients escapes. This patient is very dangerous. She has drawn her children in a lake where is behind their house. So two police officers Teddy Daniels and
Chuck Aule come to find her and to investigate this event. They can't find the patient. They think she is dead. But they can't find her corpse, too. And the investigating continues. When they investigate Teddy Daniels learns different events and interesting informations about the madhouse. But he must learn the true real about the madhouse and he must prove it. He sometimes sees his wife and a little girl in his dreams. This is a big problem for him because he can't decide correctly. At last he learns very interesting real about himself. He is the most dangerous patient in the hospital. Because he has wanted to create a different world so he has forgotten his real story. He must decide. Living like a monster or dying as a good person.
