Pentagram
It’s the first heavy metal group in Turkey. It was founded by Hakan Utangaç and Cenk Ünnü. They have released “Pentagram”, “Trail Blazer”, “Anatolia”, “Popçular Dışarı”, “ Unspoken”, “Bir” and “1982”. Due to high rate of Anatolia album’s sellings, they attracted attention in overseas. They gave concerts in Denmark and Germany. They are still playing.
Duman
Their first name was “Mad Madam”. Afterwards, Batuhan Mutlugil joined the group and they started to play as “Duman”. Their first album was “Eski Köprünün Altında”. They became a well-known group with their second album “Belki Alışman Lazım” in 2002. They covered many old songs which are loved by their fans such as “Herşeyi Yak”, “Sen Yoksun Diye”, “Kara Toprak”. They’ve released 11 albums. And I think they have the strangest Rock-style in Turkey. Because in their songs, they mix east and west styles. They combine the arabesque with rock music. Because of that, they are really popular in Turkey.


Blue Blues Band
Blue Blues Band was founded by Batu Mutlugil, Yavuz Çetin and Zafer Şanlı in 1990. They first took stage at Hayal Kahvesi in 1991. Afterwards, they took stage at Mojo which is bar of Batu Mutlugil. Then, during seven years, they took stage in many cities like İstabul, Ankara, Eskişehir. They played until the death of Yavuz Çetin.

Yavuz Çetin
He was born in Samsun in 1970. He started music in his early ages with “eura” and he started his professional music career with his guitar when he was 17. His style was “Blues-Rock”. During his life he inspired and influenced from the 1960-70s Blues-Rock musics. He started to play with MFÖ in the early of 1997. He was plannig to release his second album in 1999 but he couldn’t because of his death. He completed his album but he couldn’t release it. In 2001, he suicided and I think he was the best Blues-Rock guitar player in Turkey.
