LIKE ME PLEASE!

As technology improves, the use of internet starts to increase because people begin to tend to learn much more information. And this leds to increase in the number of social network. Yet, the use of social media turns out to not for getting information, but for people's giving information about themselves. We start to share what we eat, where we go or what we do through the day on several social networks. And I think what leds to it is the need of being approved. If what we share is liked by more people, it makes us happy but is liked by less people, on the contrary, it makes us sad.
People have started arranging their lives much more according to social media recently. For example, if what we share on twitter, instagram or facebook gets less "likes" than we think it would, we think we did something wrong. Afterwards, we start to not doing it anymore. On the contrary, we begin to do total opposite of it and depict ourselves different from who we really are.
The fact that we naturalize it and care about it so much is bad because it can led narcissism and depression.
Ferhat Aydın, a psychologist in PADEM psychology, states
"There are two personalities, one is who you are and the other one is who you want to become. While some people share posts that image who they really are and true about their lives on social media, others share posts like people who they want to be. Therefore, they feel like they belong to a group with the posts they share."
