Camorra, which is the oldest and largest mafia in Italy, dates back to the 16th century. It is originated in Campania and Naples. Camorra's places are generally prisons. Its finance sources are : selling drugs, fornicator, gamble and trade of people. They have no senior manager. Camorra is a crime organization which consists of idle gangs. Therefore, it has been able to survive for hundred years. Boss of Galasso clan ( one of Camorra's clans ) says : " You could cut into a Camorra group, but another ten could emerge from it."





Target of Camorra is attending to strategic crime alliance and extending its limits. It has more than a hundred mafia family and 7 thousands organization members. Camorra invests in so many countries such as England, Germany, Canada, Spain, Netherlands and even in Turkey. According to a book which was written about Camorra (Gamorrah) Crime Organizations in Turkey take cocaine from Camorra in return guns.


One of bosses of Camorra was arrested in 2010. Antonio Iovine, his nickname was "O Ninno". Of course, he was sentenced to life imprisenment.


A lot of movies were filmed about this mafia, one of them is Camorra directed by Pasquale Squitieri. Also Roberto Saviano wrote a book about Camorra and revealed secrets of godfathers. As a result, h took threats from this mafia.


One of Camorrists member explained their targets in a court : "We have no politic ideas. We're chosen to win. We spread every city. The one who objects us is beaten or killed."
