As Turks, we have usually really different ideas and occupations compared to others.I'm not sure it is because of our laziness or thanks to our superior intellengence, but there is a thing that I'm really sure about : If we used our intellegence in right subjects, we could be really succesful.



Driving A Car On Footbridge



       When a wide footbridge was built for pedestrians in Rize, there were some dialogs which were just jokes like : "It is wide enough to drive on, I wonder whether I can do it." But unfortunately people of Rize are little bit serious on their jokes. In 2009, one of the people who made the joke, realized it and the man drove his car on the footbride as if it was a normal thing.It was really surprising for  people who saw him there with a car.Because of his car is too big to drive there, the car was damaged seriously but the driver was happy in spite of that. When the man explained why he did it, he said : " While I was walking there, I was dreaming about it. And today It came true so I'm really happy.And also I wanted to test this footbridge's durability for my people.I can say it clearly now, you can use it safely." What a thoughtful citizen!





Two Televisions to Clean Dust 


A man who lived next to dirt road was complaining about dust which covered his house because of fast cars.Firstly, however, It looked like there was no solution to solve it, the man has an idea.He placed two televisions on sides of the dirt road.After then, every driver who passed through the road started to stop as soon as they saw the televisions and even some of them got off their cars to understand the aim of the televisions.Thus, it was the end of dust.





Unique Campaign


A man who worked as a marble-cutter did a campaign to increse his income.According to the campaign, people who knew their date of death could make gravestone for theirselves free. Thanks to this campaign, the demand to his store increased too much. But nobody who joined the campaign knew when they would die.



A Fire Escape Which is Between Two Buildings

A contractor in Rize, who is famous for his buildings, after completing his construction wanted to attach a fire escape to it but there was no avaible place to build it, so he built a footbridge which leashed two buildings each other.While I was writing the essay I remembered that our old house in Rize which had a footbridge like this.Maybe it was a fire escape and we didn't know!
